Why is using Personnel Professionals more cost-effective than in-house staffing?

When you finalize the expense for your (or your HR dept's) time to advertise the position, manage the response call intake, schedule and conduct the interviews, check references, backgrounds, education and all you require, we are confident that you will agree that your time and expenses are much higher than our low placement fee schedule. What is your screening process?

Each Personnel Professionals candidate must complete an extensive interview process. We provide soft and hard skills testing, verify prior employment history and check candidate references thoroughly. Upon request, Personnel Professionals will also provide complimentary criminal background checks for Harris County.

What if I need a more thorough screening of background?

Just ask, we will provide credit checks, drug testing, motor vehicle records check, education verification, professional license verification, multi-county criminal and social security checks for a nominal fee. Your Personnel Professionals representative has all the details.

How many resumes will you send us to review?

Typically we send 3 of the top candidates that fill the requirements that your company has provided to us. It is our goal to save you time and money by getting you back to your job as soon as possible. However, should you require more, we will send them to you after proper qualifying procedures.

How soon will I be able to hire the candidate of choice?

You may hire them immediately. However, please understand that if they are currently employed, professional courtesy generally requires them to provide a minimum of one to two weeks notice to thier current employer.

Why use Contract-to-hire Staffing?

Some of the most common reasons companies prefer a contract-to-hire option are to ensure a proper match before committing to hire, or the company has experienced recent growth; and wants to ensure that growth will be maintained prior to making the hiring decision and to give the "new hire" the opportunity to prove themselves.

Why use contract staffing?

Often, businesses may have seasonal demands that require additional staffing, defined projects that need completion, or they prefer to outsource the need for additional staff without the commitment or expense of hiring the individual needed to fill the position.

What are the benefits of contract-to-hire and contract staffing?

Personnel Professionals maintains responsibility for issuance of payroll checks for each contract candidate in a timely fashion. In addition, Personnel Professionals provides for all federal and state withholding as well as other expenses for candidates on our payroll, including employer contributions. We will continue to provide current insurance including workers comp coverage and public liability insurance. As your complete Human Resources consultant we will address any necessary employment issues with the candidates. The burden of payroll and employment issues are relieved by using Personnel Professionals.

What if I want to hire the contract employee, or we no longer have need of them?

You may choose to hire the employee or terminate the agreement at any time. Should you choose to hire the employee, and they have completed the minimum assignment length, you are free to do so with no additional fees due. Should you decide to hire the employee earlier than the assignment minimum, a nominal conversion fee is charged, which will take into account the hours the employee has already worked.
